Q003: Assalaam o alikum. I have read dream books but am unable to find the meaning of my dream. I was wondering if you would be able to help, as me and my husband had a similar dream. Firstly I saw myself praying namaaz in the dark on top of rocks (not mountains) which were just little bit above the ground. But I had my sister next to me while I was praying and she was distracting me and was unable to do my sajda. Also in the dream after I had finished my namaaz I saw my husband with a another young man who I do not know. I then went with them some where I do not know where as my dream had ended. The dream my husband had I think was a continuation of this dream (He did not know of my dream at this time) He dreamt that he was looking for me and found a girl who knew where I was. She told him and he went and saw me on the mountains high up. He called out my name telling me to come down as he thought I would fall. I said I wouldn't fall and he was worrying for nothing, so I came down to him. With him was his friend who took us to the other side of the mountain where we saw a house fall down. My husband told me that to his mind it came to him that it was Magrib in the dream. May I just add that me and husband have had nikkha only but I have not been sent to his house. He is in Pakistan and I am in UK... I would be so grateful if you could interpret this for me. If not then thanks for trying. |
| 12/13/2003 | A003: Dear Sister: Assalam Alikum I apologize for being so late in responding to your question. I do not claim that I am a dream interpreter, nor your dream has to be interpreted this way, but it is just a try. Maybe this is the time to think and to complete your marriage by finalizing the wedding, so you can be together and not to miss each other. These kind of dreams indicate lack of togetherness especially for the married couple. For both of you to have the same dream it contributes to what I am saying. Better to get married as soon as possible before your marriage will be affected by some outside factor. May God bring harmony and love between your hearts. With my best wishes to you both. Yours, Imam Farooq Aboelzahab |

Q002: Assalamu Alaikum, I always see strange dreams... Yesterday night I saw snakes in my dream. One was black and one was light green. I killed both of them into piece without any fear. I was with my father in the dream. Can you please explain the tabeer of this dream. Thank you. |
| 05/30/2002 | A002: Dear Sister: Assalamu Alaikum: God knows better. Your dream is carrying a sign of a warning to be careful from very cunning people or very influencing person or stile or practice. Always remember Allah and consult with the Quran in any decision and stay away from evil and evil minded people. Seek refuge in the name of God whenever you have these kind of dreams. May God be with you. Yours; Imam Farooq Aboelzahab |

Q001: Assalamualaikum wbt, I understand that some dreams are true dreams and if I am not mistaken, there is a hadith that states that one should tell good dreams to others... and another that I read (I'm not sure whether it is hadith or not) says that the dream is on a feather of a bird and will have any influence unless it is told. Also a hadith that states that true dream is one-fortysixth of prophethood. I have been cautious on this matter as not anyone can ta'bir dream correctly. When it is interpreted, it becomes a fatwa.. In addition some people may be envious if the dream is good. All this while, I've been recording my dreams, those that just stuck out. It is not everyday I record dreams, sometimes it come in a flurry one after another, sometimes none for months. Anyway, I hope to get your ta'bir of my dreams that I have been having recently. (details of 8 dreams - not printed) |
| 01/17/2002 | A001: Dear Br.: Assalamu Alaikum, I thank you for your email, and I apologize for not being able to interpret your dreams in details. The dreams are to be interpreted by the person himself, he knows himself, he knows how religious or not, how sincere he is. Does he go to bed with Wudu (Ablution) or not, and if the dreams have a message or not and if it is a warning from God or good news to go ahead for something he thinks about. There're many circumstances which affect the dream interpretation. The best one to know what the dream tells is the
person himself not someone else. As for what you mentioned "the dream is on
a feather of a bird..." I never heard of it. |
