Social Services Committee

Objectives:

Visit the homebound, elderly, hospitalized, and families of deceased

Participate in area Soup Kitchens

Health Fairs and Blood Drives

Public Health Lectures - Open to the Public

Assistance with Preparation of Wills according to Islamic guidelines

Medical Clinic - Volunteer staff of Muslim professionals

Family Counseling/ Marriage Strengthening/Parenting Seminars

Duties:

To provide for the social well being of the members of the community

To provide assistance programs for needy Muslims

To cooperate with other community service organizations

Social Services Committee will not attempt to establish a disaster relief effort, but will identify established organizations involved in these activities and make recommendations to Council for participation by all members of the Center
